Definitions: Manual Therapy is therapy done with the hands, primarly massage and manipulation. Bodywork is hands-on therapy that harmonizes and aligns the structure of the body, but can also help physiological and psychological function. This can include various forms of structural therapy, massage, energy healing, and movement therapy. Adjunctive Therapies are treatments that support and enhance the primary treatment. Soft Tissue Manipulation is the skillful use of the hands to restore mobility and reduce strain in soft tissues of the body such as muscles, ligaments, tendons, and connective tissue.
